Sweat  +  Smarts  +  Support = Success!

  • WOGA's coaches and athletes supply the sweat and smarts.  The other key to success is support from families, communities, and businesses who provide the tools, training, and travel necessary to succeed in World competition!

  • Elite gymnastics is expensive.  Gymnasts train 6-8 hours per day, 15-30+ hours per week - year around.  Elite gymnasts can spend up to $30,000 per year on tuition, travel expenses, uniforms, and competition fees.

  • With over 150 competitive gymnasts training year around, the equipment wears out fast!  Balance beams cost over $2,500.  Vault cost $4,000.  Spring Floor costs over $20,000 - WOGA maintains over 100 of these specialized pieces of equipment in each of three training facilities.

  • WOGA is poised to send more men and women gymnasts to National and World competition in the coming years than any other gym in the US!

  • Your support will help with training, equipment, and travel costs to allow elite gymnasts to compete in more National and International events and training for World and Olympic competition!

The "Patterson"

An example of what smarts and sweat can produce:  the "PATTERSON" Double Arabian dismount off beam - the move was developed by Coach Natalaya Boyarskaya and perfected by Carly Patterson - the most sophisticated dismount ever performed.
